Silver Salmon Fishing in Gulf of Alaska Waters including Resurrection Bay

Silver salmon are pound-for-pound the hardest-fighting salmon; in the ocean, they are a beautiful silver color and they are considered by many to be the tastiest salmon species. Most of the silvers we catch weight between 7 and 12 lbs., but the occasional fish over 15 lbs. is caught.

Fishing season: These salmon appear in the Resurrection Bay area in mid June and stick around until early fall.

Bag limit: 3-6/day, per person, depending on statistical are fished for Silver Salmon.
